This development saw the transformation of existing aging residential units and wasteland, into a brand new building to provide 22 apartments for social rent. The 4 storey building consists of 8no, 1 bed and 14no, 2 bed apartments set out within 3 adjoining blocks and is designed to meet Secured By Design and Lifetime Homes standards.

The existing structure was demolished prior to the new construction, which consists of piled foundations with concrete ring beam, masonry cavity walls, self-finish render, pre-cast concrete floors and a pitched tiled roof fitted with dormer windows. The 3 stair cores (2 with lifts) have full height feature glazing and generous storage areas with access from the front and the rear of the building. Each of the apartments has its own video entry system and includes fully fitted kitchens with utility storage areas, gas fired central heating, UPVC windows and doors with Juliet balconies.

The ground floor apartments have access to their own private gardens laid to grass and/or paving and storage sheds. The site is fully landscaped with communal gardens to the rear.

The scheme received a bronze award at the 2017 CCS Awards.
